Broccoli Cheese Patties is a simple and amazing spin on broccoli. Plain old broccoli gets old pretty fast, and these patties will spice up your broccoli life. Enter broccoli cheese patties, delicious patties of healthy healthy broccoli. These were made in puck shape so we could serve them as an appetizer, though they can be made into much much more. The egg in these patties brings everything together like glue, you can make them with out it but it will all fall apart unless you load them so chalk full of cheese that it renders the broccoli as a filler rather than a healthy meal. If you’re a cheese fan you can also substitute other cheese’s for cheddar, or add more to your liking this will also help to hold the patties together. The more you have the better, and larger the patties can be. Just think a broccoli burger could be in the future. These broccoli cheese patties are just that versatile, you can put them anywhere and you may be able to get your children to actually enjoy broccoli when its covered in cheese, or masked as a burger.
These broccoli cheese patties also reheat very well, they are ideal for making the night before and taking them to work. It’s healthier than going out to lunch and buying yourself a bag full of fast food. It also takes less time to prepare at work (30 seconds in the microwave) compared to driving somewhere, or ordering it to the office. Can you say cheap? Broccoli is super cheap, and you should have eggs and cheese stocked for staple foods to make anyway. The real costs of taking these to lunch seems to have no downside!
